New Year, New Place, New Start!

Two months!
It has been two months that I have been gone from the blogsphere!
I missed it. Things have been CRAZY.

Since my last post the following things have happened:
  • Josh started school at MediaTech Institute. It is a super cool place for Audio Engineering, and I am so happy and excited for him.
  • Christopher started school and Ireland's Kingdom Pre-school. It is a nice little place in the heart of old town Pflugerville, TX and he LOVES it. He is friends with every kid in the class and they get excited when they see him come in in the morning.
  • I started another semester at Austin Community College . I am taking classes on campus and online.
  • I have also left my job at Alamo Drafthouse. But I am looking for a new job, and have a few interviews lined up.
  • Last, but not least, we moved!
My husband and I have always lived as cost effective as we could, like many people everywhere, but a combination of slow season/not getting hours and unanticipated bills and costs brought us to the most difficult time of our lives together. We always seem to hit bump every few years and with a combination of hope, optimism, and amazing family; have always gotten through it. Mostly from our amazing family.
This time was no different. While we were busy knocking our heads together trying to figure out a new budget so that we would be able to afford the both of us going to school, working less, and paying daycare, Josh's Aunt was thinking of her own way to help us out.
You see, she recently moved in with her boyfriend of many years, but still wanted to keep her home. It has been her home for the last 20+ years. I am sure you have put it together. She graciously offered her home to us. And not only did she offer us a place to live, but at a price that we were able to afford in our budget. Our family has always been generous and helpful, but this, even over a month later, still renders me speechless.

We moved in right away and living in a house is more amazing than I remember! I am in love with it! I have always loved her home, and being able to come here every night and see my son and dog in the backyard is such a joy.

Not to mention my new kitchen!!!! It is so AWESOME.

I can go on and on with the house, but instead of words, let me show you a few pictures.

It has been so wonderful so far and I am so thankful for the help and graciousness of Josh's Aunt.

My family is built with love and seeing my family take care of each other makes my heart feel warm. I also feel that I might have done sonethings in life right but it was with GOD ALWAYS WATCHING OVER US.
